Bindusaar(How he got his name)

Bindusaar was the son of Chandragupta Maurya, the founder of Mauryan empire under the guidance of Acharya Chanakya. Chankya who was a great kingmaker used to prepare Chandragupta against every possible challe-nge regarding administration and life threat.
He used to mix poison in Chandragupta's food in small quantity to build his immunity against
possible poison attack on king. One fine day
Chandragupta accidentally shares his food with his pregnant  wife and she got poisoned.
When the king realised his mistake, the poison spread in the queen's body.Doctors wer called
to treat the queen and save the child. After successful delivery of the baby, they were not
able to save the queen but using the ayurvedic
treatment they were successful in concentrat-ing the poison on baby's forehead and a big mark or "Bindu"was seen on the baby's fore-head and thus named Bindusaar.
